A seasoned strategist with 17 years’ proven effectiveness in advancing client causes and initiatives, Robert’s experience spans the areas of public procurement, campaign management, land use entitlement, and crisis communications.

Key to Robert's success has been his ability to grasp the nuanced challenges clients confront and to implement tailored campaigns which build consensus and galvanize support. His early experiences in the public sector and his affinity for community engagement have informed the victories he helped to achieve as one of ACG’s most valued team members. The unanimous approval of Cesar Pelli’s re-envisioned Red Building at Pacific Design Center, the City of LA’s award of the $150 million street furniture contract to CBS/JCDecaux, and LA County Supervisor Yvonne Burke’s powerful electoral victory against a well-funded opponent are just three examples of Robert’s savvy and expertise.

Robert's experience in government, advocacy, and community engagement is extensive. As the Mayor's appointee to the West Hollywood Mixed Use/Housing Task Force, he consulted community leaders, businesses, and planners to spearhead the rewriting of zoning regulations. He subsequently served as a Business License Commissioner and Public Facilities Commissioner. Working at the State Department’s behest, Robert crafted nuanced communications strategies for a federal agency. Most recently, Robert collaborated with government officials, service providers, and investment firms in the UK to develop a high-profile initiative on the Prime Minister's behalf.

In addition to representing clients, Robert has formulated and implemented promotional campaigns for the Earth Institute and the University of Oxford. At the Earth Institute in particular, his expertise elevated him to a senior advisor’s role in which he worked hand-in-hand with the Executive Director. The content he produced, combined with marketing tactics and the cultivation of relationships with public agencies, helped elevate these institutions’ profiles.

A graduate of Columbia University, Robert was selected to study abroad at Freie Universität Berlin and continues to serve as a university ambassador. He holds a master’s in Modern History from Oxford and a Master of Public Policy from Cambridge. He has been awarded numerous awards for academic excellence and community involvement – among them the UN’s Policy Prize.
